This year a colossal host of companies from every corner of business are gathering together to bring Vendors a day of advice, business support, and education.
Companies like Microsoft, Constant Contact, and Via Integrity will be at the Wyndham Grand on September 26th, a full day before the convention, to offer workshops specifically suited to the progression of your business.
While this event is a separately ticketed event the cost is per company not per person, so we recommend that you attend and bring any members of your company who wish to further their education. We hope to see you there!

Private Service Professionals play a huge role in the flow of our economy and on many occasions often help to manage the lives of some of the world’s most powerful people. However, even in this modern day and age the lives & accomplishments of domestic managers too often go unrecognized by the public as a whole.
The aforementioned film is none other than the newly released cinematic masterpiece, Lee Daniels’ The Butler. The Butler tells the story of a White House Butler who served eight American presidents over three decades. It also covers the dramatic changes that swept American society during this time, from the civil rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affected this man’s life and family.
As well as showcasing Eugene Allen’s lifelong service and dedication to the White House, it also serves to familiarize the public with our field and what we do. This film portrays Butlers and service members on a pedestal as opposed to the less-than-glamorous light they’re usually shown in.
DEMA honored Eugene Allen at last year’s convention with our first ever DEMA Lifetime Achievement Award!
“I encourage one and ALL to see the movie,” said Wil Haygood, author of the film’s companion book The Butler: A Witness To History.
“It is a powerful tribute to service workers everywhere.”
In this installment of DEMA Minutes we get a chance to visit with DEMA Vendor Chris Putrimas, owner of Dr. Teak as he explains the benefits of incorporating a maintenance program for Teak Wood. Items would include patio furniture, yachts and any other teak decorations in the estate or on the yacht!
