“Cousu main” – Quality Customer Service
Brian Bechel, Director of Human Resources at Sofitel Los Angeles, not only has years of experience in hotel operations, but has experience staffing large estates as well.
This month Mr. Bechel will introduce the Sofitel philosophy of “cousu main,” or “tailor fit,” which focuses on noticing the small details about a guest which can be incorporated in customer service to make an emotional connection. Aspects include,

The remainder of meetings are devoted to networking and exchanging solutions with other private service professionals.

About the Speaker
Brian Bechel, Director of Human Resources for Sofitel Los Angeles, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Human Resources and payroll department. He has played a significant role in the successful transitions of Hotel Sofitel, a three star property into Sofitel LA, a four star luxury hotel.
He has participated in recruiting, hiring and training of over 180 employees upon completion of hotel renovation, and wrote and implemented new grooming and service standards in conjunction with the writing and implementation of new employee hand book.
He has become responsible for hotel operations since the departure of General and Hotel Manager including Front Office, Food and Beverage, Accounting and Spa.
