Attending DEMA events are a great way to learn useful information to help you maintain your estate and make valuable connections with your peers.
This month’s event is open to members and non-members free of charge. Attendees will be responsible for their own food and beverage.
Constructed in 1893 as the Ames Agricultural Tool Company, the Ames Building has been referred to as Boston’s tallest building from 1893 until 1915, and is still considered Boston’s first skyscraper. Ames Boston Hotel is currently the world’s tallest masonry load bearing-wall structure, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2007 the Ames Building was fully restored as a luxury boutique Boston hotel featuring lodging and conference facilities.
Taking bold steps along the Freedom Trail, the King Street Tavern located inside the historic Ames Hotel is a modern adaptation of its revolutionary heritage.
Named after King Street, the original colonial era street name, this full service tavern boasts an ENHANCED BAR EXPERIENCE like none other. From its original industrial flooring adorned with plush leather seating to its handsome bar nuzzled beneath the empowering back drop of the legendary Old State House, nowhere in the city of Boston, has drink, food, and entertainment met at a higher epicurean crossroad.
