DEMA was excited to send out announcements about multiple DEMA Members working together to help educate the Private Service Industry. It is amazing what is possible with a little bit of team work!
August
This month we were proud to announce the launch date of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. We also released a list of around 40 website updates to the new DEMA website. The Career Center became operational so all DEMA Members can easily communicate about job openings and searches. Our Domestic Placement Agency Members have quickly begun to utilize the new job board.
June
We announced the launch of the NEW website and highlighted a few of the new features that are available. Attached were step by step instructions for existing users to login and the "Top Ten Things to do when logging in for the First Time".
March
In this month's newsletter we announced a special presentation by Philip Porter from Crystal Treasures, Inc. at our Chapter Launch in Dallas. The Private Service Spotlight was Kelly Larson and we announced Housekeeper Training in NYC & Chicago.
February
This month we were excited to announce our first chapter launch of the year on March 23rd in Dallas, Texas. We also had a wrap up of the DEMA TownHall Meeting with important information on when the next one would be held. The featured article was "Working as a Housekeeper & Maintaining a Good Employment Relationship" by Marta Perrone. The Agency Connection was Mom's Best Friend and the Private Service Spotlight was Paul Martel. Open enrollment for the DEMA Dental, Hearing & Vision Plan came to a close for 2011.
January
This month we announced another first for the Private Service Community, The DEMA TownHall Meeting. This meeting featured a best practices discussion and Q & A session about Domestic Placement with four of the industry's leading agencies. Click here to view videos of the event. We had multiple featured articles from Varda and Crystal Treasures, inc. The Private Service Spotlight was Richmond Schmidt.
